Please read.

  • Send your files (especially catalogs and brochures) in PDF format. Please refrain from creating your graphic designs in Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Canva. Use programs such as: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, CorelDRAW.

  • For CTP we only accept PDF and PS files.

  • COLOR

Printing technology is based on CMYK. Avoid using RGB, because what you see on your monitor can differ from the final print. Prepare your designs in CMYK. When creating a new document, choose the CMYK profile directly. Do not, under any circumstances, convert from RGB to CMYK afterwards. Please note that if you use RGB or Pantone colors, they will be converted to CMYK, which may result in minor color differences for which we are not responsible. Make sure to let us know if you used Pantone or other spot colors in your design.

  • IMAGE RESOLUTION

Use a minimum image resolution of 300 dpi.

  • GRADIENTS

If you want a quality gradient, we suggest working in Photoshop, because vector gradients can cause problems during ripping. To achieve a smooth gradient, use the "Add noise" filter (max. 2-3 values) in Photoshop.

  • BLEED

Add a minimum of 3 mm bleed to the desired size on all four sides. Please also pay attention that all text and graphic elements are within the safe area, minimum 3 mm (but preferably 5 mm) away from the trim marks. If you don’t have any background color or elements that go beyond the edge of the sheet, you don’t need to add the 3 mm bleed.

  • FONTS
    (a) best practice is to convert text to curves in a vector program when saving. For this, if available, check the box “Export all text as curves” when saving your file.
    (b) if you are unable to do step (a), turn “Embed All Fonts” on in Acrobat Distiller

  • HOW TO SAVE YOUR FILES

As a general rule for all programs, black text should be 100% black (K100%).

    • Photoshop: save your work as PSD/TIFF. For black text (K100%) turn on the "Multiply" option in Layers.

    • CorelDRAW: save as CDR and make sure all text is converted into curves (CTRL+Q).

    • Adobe Illustrator: save as AI/EPS/PDF and make sure all text is converted into curves (CTRL+SHIFT+O).
